Rob Matthews Wikipedia is a 5000-page bound volume containing all of Wikipedia's featured articles. Inherently absurd, the book is obsolete as soon as it is produced; by the time the final article has been printed the first has almost certainly been edited.
The piece is intended to call into question the reliability of Wikipedia as resource, while also making a witty comparison between it and its printed precedents. Wikipedia is frequently cited as an example of the internet's unique ability to bring together the world's knowledge, though it's supposed impartiality and dependability have always been problematic.
