Sinta Werna - Empfang (2008)

Werner's 2008 installation at COMA (Centre for Opinions in Music and Art, Berlin) was a mirrored duplicate of their third floor office space.
Meticulously, Werner re-constructed the space using wooden frame-work reminiscent of set design, so although the scene was seemingly perfect at first glance its fiction soon becomes evident upon closer inspection. The original or real office space is employed as a prop for its false duplicate giving a real sense of the uncanny and an unsetteling effect on the viewer .
